PRINCE COURT MEDICAL CENTRE (This is not a paid advertisement)
We feel the need to share this with you readers, therefore this review & feedback came along to further clarify about the much wrongly perceived hospital. You see, we always passed by this grand/posh looking hospital on our way home from work. And the first thing we have in mind is that nobody will ever get charge reasonably if they seek treatment there. They would definitely be charged a BOMB!
Well, just look at the hotel...Umm...Hospital design! They are truly the state of the art. For sure, things dont come cheap in there - right??
NO! and we were sooo wrong!
We had the opportunity to FINALLY visit this daunting (and amazing!) place when our daughter got sick and the normal GP + her existing Paed medication didnt help much. Frantically seeking a better doctor to treat her, the poor Mommy had to asked friends and colleagues for advise that led her to finally consider Prince Court Medical Centre despite the perceptions.
From the moment we drove into the hospital basement to park our car, it was a breeze. Simple and easy signage, plus the carpark areas are clean too.
As we enter into the hospital, a friendly customer service person chased after us just to ask if its our first time at Prince Court and we reluctantly said yes, not knowing what the motive was. She welcomed us politely with a smiling face and noticing that we have our daughter with us, she immediately ordered her staff to bring us a nice handmade chocolate cookie with a smiley face. Plus, she gets a balloon too. All FREE!
We were so touched! Suddenly we felt so good about the place. Simple gestures like this delighted us. What a great customer service!She proceeded to show us the way to the Doctor's office (women & children), that was located at the 6th Floor.
We took the nice bubble lift and headed on to the Children's clinic. It was clean and the waiting time (new registration) took less than 10 minutes. We were greeted by friendly customer service staff and a senior nurse (Zaiton) attended to our daughter's weight, height and temperature. Her gentle, motherly and friendly manner had put our daughter at ease when she inserted a medicine into her rectum (the fever was high!).
From making payments to collecting the medicines, the whole experience is really excellent. And guess what? With that experience, it costs us RM154 only! I used to pay this much when I go visit other specialist hospitals too!
We would definitely come back again and we recommend PRINCE COURT MEDICAL CENTRE to those who wants excellent service that comes with a reasonable price!
Right after that we went to see Dr Anthony James Mansul (resident Paeditrician) for consultation and diagnosis on our daughter's sickness. He was very friendly from the moment we came in and even before leaving. He was very thorough with examining her symptoms and even explained in detail about the sickness. We felt like we're talking to a family friend - he made us feel at ease and that's important to worrisome parents!
From making payments to collecting the medicines, the whole experience is really excellent. And guess what? With that experience, it costs us RM154 only! I used to pay this much when I go visit other specialist hospitals too! So the morale of the story is that, PRINCE COURT MEDICAL CENTRE is not as what we perceived it was. Its customer service is akin to that of hotel's standard, doctor's service is superb and the whole experience didnt cost us RM500 (we were told to prepare this much for a simple diagnosis & medication!).
We would definitely come back again and we recommend PRINCE COURT MEDICAL CENTRE to those who wants excellent service that comes with a reasonable price!
